Celebrating our 10th anniversary, Studio Archetype is headquartered in San Francisco's "Multimedia Gulch," with full-service offices in New York and Atlanta, and sales representatives in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Sydney, Australia.
The firm serves clients who are at the convergence of the technology, entertainment, and consumer markets and who are integrating emerging technology into their businesses. Our client list includes IBM, American Express, Intel, Kodak, Johnson & Johnson, Netscape, Revo, Microsoft, NBC, NationsBank, Nintendo, QVC, 3Com, Bank of America, and UPS, as well as many smaller firms who are developing revolutionary products and services.
When Clement Mok founded Clement Mok designs (CMd), the first clients were attracted to the company largely because of his personal reputation. While Clement remains instrumental to the creative and overall direction of the firm, in 1996 CMd changed its name to Studio Archetype to reflect a team approach to serving clients. The firm currently comprises a talented group of over 150 people with skills spanning many disciplines. The breadth of expertise includes brand strategy, information and visual design, and programming. The experienced management team brings to the company backgrounds in marketing, information and communication design, product development, and user research.
Studio Archetype's goal is to help clients become the archetypes of their respective industries. The dictionary definition of "archetype" is "an original model upon which all things of the same pattern or type are based." Our name is an expression of the firm's business evolution, especially over the last few years of rapid growth, as well as a statement of direction and of the important values upon which our reputation is based. Studio Archetype strives to meet and exceed the levels of strategic value, quality, and accessibility which clients have come to expect.
